‘…The installations and performative project of ‘Subversion to Red’ intend to re-read or adapt Marxist thought and left doctrine to contemporary society, in the name of a renewed enthusiasm for action, for political but also for civil commitment, to ensure that the times return to being really, not sarcastically “interesting”.
The project ‘shakes’ the individual from the current state of apathy which has resulted from the consumer society, the internet and social networks. Collectively, the works have the “subversive” scent of ‘68, but they also represent the organic internal world of the artist Nada Prlja, within the political sphere of today, especially thought performative art event Red Discussion 2…’
